Wie Leiden goed kent, ziet direct dat de gevel van dit voormalig pakhuis/ magazijn zeer uniek is!
Zoals Erfgoed Leiden mooi omschrijft in haar beschrijving van dit pand: 'Dit pand is van hoge cultuurhistorische waarde omdat het onderdeel was van het voormalig fabriekscomplex Parmentier. Dit pand heeft een bijzondere architectuur, met name de vorm van de geveltop is in Leiden vrij zeldzaam'.
Leiden ken veel hals, trap of klokgevels maar deze gevel springt er echt uit. Hoe zou u deze noemen?
De huidige eigenaren hebben dit woonhuis al heel lang in hun bezit en hebben het van de sloophamer weten te behoeden. Met veel aandacht voor detail en liefde voor het behoud van dit prachtige monument hebben ze het voor het nageslacht weten te behouden. De vele bewoners die het in de afgelopen decennia hebben mogen bewonen spreken dan ook over een unieke en fijne woonplek in het centrum van Leiden. Zet u dat woongevoel door?
